Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
SPUD is an internal business tool, not a public-facing product, so we keep cookie and local-storage usage to the minimum required to make the Platform work. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies of any kind.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled:
| Cookie | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Session token | Keeps you signed in and identifies your account and role across requests |
| CSRF token | Protects sign-in and form submissions from cross-site request forgery |
| Callback URL | Remembers where to redirect you after signing in |
| Locale preference | Remembers your selected display language across visits |
These cookies are set by our authentication and language systems and expire automatically when your session ends or after a year, whichever is sooner.
2. Local storage
In addition to cookies, the Platform uses your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. This is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers.
3. No analytics or marketing cookies
Because SPUD is used internally rather than by the public, we do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any similar tracking technology.
4. Managing cookies
Since the cookies described above are required for the Platform to function, disabling them in your browser will prevent you from signing in or using the Platform. If you have concerns about how cookies are used, contact your system administrator.
5. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the cookies or storage technologies used by the Platform change.
